‘Galti ko maaf karna sabse badi galti hain’ – I would like to congratulate D Suman Kittur & the whole team for the effort & success for ‘Edegaarike’…ತುಂಬಾ ಚನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮೂಡಿ ಬಂದಿದೆ. Based on the novel of the same title written by Agni Sridhar. For me it’s an inspirational script! The way it has been written & the screenplay which is very smooth, but yet so grippy! One of the best part..starting from the title card credit itself, Sadhu – the unsung hero of KFI (Kannada film industry), rises as hero through out the film..be it opening credit track or any emotional RR (re-recording), he is one of the best BGM scorer, proved it again! The love & respect for him has grown more in me…the picturisation & performances has come out really well..the imaginary sequence of the bullock cart was too impressive. Crime is also not glorified & stands out for its crisp characterization. It’s a story about guts & tragedy. These kinda Kannada films should be supported, loved it! Best wishes to everybody.
TOI says: ‘Gripping narration and excellent screenplay with a touch of romance make the story quite interesting. Except for a few gunshots, there is not much violence in the story that keeps you on the edge of your seat till the end. The director has woven a romantic track brilliantly which ultimately shows its strength in the climax.’ Now take time off to watch this film, more so if you are tired of the same old formula films.
